Year-Round Opportunities
Rocket City Missions offers year-round opportunities for groups to work on homes across the City of Huntsville. There are currently over 30 homes that are approved for home repair across the city. Times are flexible to allow for weekend-long, day long, or even half-day long home projects of various sizes.
Larger Projects include:
- Small roofing jobs
- Roofing for detached garages
- Vinyl siding
Smaller Projects include:
- Painting block foundations
- Painting handicap ramps
- Installing front doors
- Deck staining
- Yard cleanup
- Fence repairs

Summer Mission Trip
Every June, Rocket City Missions provides a week-long mission trip for youth groups and adults to participate in roofing and vinyl siding for elderly homeowners that are approved for home repairs by the City of Huntsville. The week will consist of working on these homes during the day, talking with homeowners about the gospel, and worship service each night. There is also an afternoon set aside for volunteers to explore and enjoy the city of Huntsville.
Rocket City Missions will provide lunch, dinner, and housing needs for all volunteers.
